Dr. Ann Forrest

Dr. Ann E. Forrest earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont, her M.Ed in Reading from the University of New Hampshire, and her Ed. D. in Educational Leadership from Boston College. She has worked as a New Hampshire educator since 2000. In the ConVal School District, she is in charge of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment as well as professional development for teachers, ensuring that they are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources to provide high-quality education and support the academic success of all students within the district. Since 2017, Dr. Forrest has been closely involved in the successful implementation of the 1:1 Chromebook program in the Conval school District as the leading member of the Blended Learning Leadership Team. She is the recipient of the 2021 Outstanding Service Award by the New Hampshire School Administrators Association (NHSAA) for exemplary achievement and leadership.

Kathleen Scholand

Kathleen R. Scholand earned her B.A. in Mathematics from Wells College and her M.A. in Mathematics from Stony Brook University. She has worked as a secondary (7-12) mathematics teacher in New York and was a member of the New York State Education Department Mathematics Content Advisory Committee and was awarded a Common Core Learning Institute Fellowship. She has an advanced certificate in gifted education, and completed her C.A.G.S. at Stony Brook University in 2017. She is enrolled in Plymouth State University’s doctoral program in Learning, Leadership and Community. In New York she transitioned from teaching to a Director of STEM. In New Hampshire, she has served as the Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator for two school districts, provided professional development, managed federal grants, and facilitated the use of student achievement data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes. She is the recipient of the 2022 New Hampshire School Administrators Association (NHSAA) Charles Marston Scholarship and the 2023 Plymouth State University (PSU) McCabe Leadership Scholarship to continue her pursuit of leadership to foster excellence in education.

Cari Coates

Cari Christian-Coates M.Ed., LSSW has worked for the Contoocook Valley School District for the past Twenty-eight years. Cari is an experienced Director of Student Services with a demonstrated history of working in the public education management industry as well as Community Mental Health with extensive experience as a Special Education Administrator. She is a Licensed School Social Worker as well as Certified Special Education Administrator in the State of New Hampshire. Cari is skilled in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Behavioral Disorders, PreK-12 Education, Student Counseling, Social Emotional Learning, Positive Behavior Support and Crisis Management. She also has a Background in Community Mental Health and strengths in Community Collaboration, mental health and school administration. Cari is a strong public education professional with a Master of Education focused in Counseling/Psychology from Cambridge College. She also has a B.S. from Colby-Sawyer College.

Ben Moenter

Ben has worked at the ConVal School District as the Director of Special Education since 2017 with 20 years of experience in public education.   He earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Social/Ethical Philosophy from Plattsburgh State University of New York and graduated with a Masters in School Psychology from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. Ben has Post-Graduate Specialization in Neuropsychological Assessment and Intervention for School Psychologists from Long Island University.  Prior to working as Director of Special Education, Ben was the School Psychologist at ConVal High School and continues to be a NH licensed and certified School Psychologist. Ben currently serves as the school district representative on the NH Region 1 Early Childhood Accountability Team and the CVSD DIversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility team.Ben previously worked as a Special Education Coordinator and School Psychologist in Washington State.   He has extensive professional development and program development experience in public schools in areas of Multi-tiered Systems of Support,  School and DIstrict-wide Climate and Systems, Emotional and Behavioral program development, Behavior Intervention, Autism, Vocabulary and Reading Development, and Crisis Response and intervention.Ben has research and teaching experience in areas of education, cognitive psychology, neuropsychology, ethical philosophy and auditory research.  Ben has taught gifted and talented adolescents at the Center for Talented Youth at Johns Hopkins University and was a senior research assistant responsible for supporting data analysis and administering assessment to high school, college and Olympic athletes at-risk of concussion.  Ben has worked as a paraprofessional as well as worked in multiple rehabilitation and therapeutic settings with adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities, Autism and brain injury.  He has received several fellowships at the University of Rochester working with inner-city preschool children related to curriculum and vocabulary development and also in understanding human perception, action and cognition and their interactions on learning.  Ben was awarded the “ It Takes a Community Award” for building community partnerships in South King County, WA.  This is Ben’s favorite recognition as it was the result of successful ongoing collaborative work designing programming for students with emotional and behavioral needs in public schools along with community partnerships focused on the growth and success of children in their communities.

Terri Drogue

Terri Drogue received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Keene State College and began her career in human services. She worked in community-based services with developmentally disabled adults, and in secure psychiatric treatments centers with adults and children. Drogue later continued her education at Keene State College and earned a master's degree in education and school counseling; she has worked as a school counselor at all levels (Pre-K - 12) in five districts across two states. Drogue also earned a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in school psychology from Norwich University; she spent several years working as a K-12 school psychologist and as a special education administrator. Drogue has served on numerous committees including the NH Office of Professional Licensing and Certification School Psychology Advisory Committee, the NH Learning Initiative PLC and Performance Assessment Leadership Committee, and she was a former board member of the Keene Chapter of CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder).

Michael Hatfield

Michael Hatfield earned his B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with certification in elementary education and general special education from Notre Dame College. He also earned his Master's in Education and Certificate of Graduate Studies in Advanced Education Leadership from the University of New England. He has been an educator for over 20 years and currently holds six educator endorsements (Elementary Education, General Special Education, Principal, Special Education Administration, Curriculum Administration, and Superintendent). He began his tenure in the ConVal School District in 2023.

Robert DiGregorio

Rob is the Contoocook Valley School District‘s Business Administrator. He earned his B.S. in Business Management from Granite State College in Concord, and an MBA from Southern NH University. He holds the Business Administrator Certification from the NH Department of Education. Prior to becoming a BA, Rob spent many years in Special Education working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in residential and public schools. 

Tim Grossi

Tim has worked in the Contoocook Valley School District for the last 16 years. He has been in facilities management for the last 26 years specializing in Lean Principles, energy saving enhancements and cost savings implementations. He is a graduate of NH Vocational Technical College in Manchester with a degree in Building Construction. He serves as the school district's NH DES liaison as the required training relates to Asbestos Management, Underground Storage tank management and LEAD in drinking water act.  He has been active in the community having served on several boards including the Peterborough Chamber of Commerce.
