Music on Friday

Band:   No plus block rehearsal

Lessons:          Block 2 – 7th and 8th grade Alto Sax

                      Block 3 – 7th and 8th grade Trumpet

                      Block 6 – 7th and 8th grade Trombone

                      Block 7 – 7th and 8th grade Percussion

 

Chorus5th grade chorus will meet with Mrs. Fortin today during Plus Block.

 

Any student who wishes to join chorus may join after the Winter Vacation when we return to school in January.

 

Sports

Today in Basketball, Boys and Girls Blue Basketball Teams will play at Amherst.   Boys play at 3:30pm and Girls at 4:45pm.  The bus will leave South Meadow at 2:00pm.  Please dismiss these teams at 1:45pm.

 

Any SMS female volleyball athlete interested in attending the Cougar Cub Volleyball Clinics offered by ConVal High School please come down the gym and see Mr. Sil at ANYTIME to pick up information and a handout.

 

No Roller Skating

Roller Skating has been cancelled tonight.

 

Winter Break  

Winter Break begins Monday.  School will be out for 2 weeks.  Enjoy your holidays and we’ll see you in 2015!

 

Yankee Candles

The Yankee Candles are in and ready for pick up.  Please stop by the office today to pick up your orders. 

 

Outdoor Recess Schedule

Grade 8 outside/Grade 6 in the gym by Advisory and Grade 7 outside/Grade 5 in the gym by Advisory.

Please wear warm clothing for outdoor recess.  Don’t forget to wear a coat, mittens or gloves and a hat.

 

Lost and Found

If you are missing anything, be sure to look in lost and found in its new location on the right side of the hallway.  If you don’t have time to look during the day, check out the lost and found link on our website. New pictures posted frequently.  Smaller items such as glasses or jewelry are kept in the Main Office.  If you have lost any jewelry, be sure to inquire in the office.

 

Arrival at School:  Any students arriving at school before 7:10am must go either to the cafeteria for breakfast and eat in the cafeteria, or wait in the front lobby or go to the gym. 

 

 

Friday Night Rollerskating!

No roller skating Friday, December 19.

When:  Every Friday Evening Beginning 

October 17th through April 17th when school is in session.

(Except Halloween – 10/31/14)

 

Roller Skating $7 per session

Session 1:  5:30pm – 7:00 pm ~ (Family Skate)

Session 2: 6:30pm – 8:00pm

Students, grade 4 and under must be supervised by an adult.
