The millstone now at the head of the entrance path was relocated this summer from behind the greenhouse. This stone was once thought to have been used in the manufacture of Peterborough's wagon wheels. The metal rim was shaped around the stone and then slipped onto the wheel.

Sports Try-Outs

If your son or daughter is interested in playing a sport at SMS this school year, please print this Permission Form and have your student bring it to school with them on the first day of school.  Please be aware that the try-out dates for Soccer and Field Hockey are August 26th and 27th then will meet right after school on the 28th of August.  Cross Country try-outs will start right after school on August 28th also.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact our office.
