ConVal Girls Hockey Visits BU
-
Boston University girls in Pink to support Breast Cancer in the seventh annual Skating Strides against Breast Cancer and UNH in Navy and White.
Last Sunday afternoon, January 27, the ConVal Girls Ice Hockey team journeyed down to the Walter Brown Arena in Boston to watch the Boston University Girls in action. For the first time hockey team it was incredible to watch these girls play, because they were doing all the things that the team inspires to do. The ConVal girls watched the game with intensity and took mental notes of what the players were doing so they could bring it back to ConVal’s home ice. The BU Terriers passed hard and on point, they were always in the right place ready to block a pass or receive one. They fought hard but never dirty even when one of their player’s number 18 Rebecca Russo got body checked into the boards and had to be helped off the ice with what looked like to be a leg injury. They were a good team and worked together with ease, they always communicated with their line, which is something the ConVal girls need to remember to do. The BU Terriers knew what they wanted and the win is what they got; the girls won the game against UNH 3 to 2.
