Kim Chandler, Director of Guidance
Biographical Information
Kim Chandler is in her seventeenth year as a professional high school counselor. She has a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.A. in Counseling from the University of New Hampshire.
Mrs. Chandler began her career as a guidance counselor at Timberlane Regional High School in Plaistow, New Hampshire. At Timberlane, Mrs. Chandler served as a class advisor and an advisor to the student leadership team.
In 2002, she relocated to Virginia where she worked at Gloucester High School. While a counselor at Gloucester, Mrs. Chandler also served as the sponsor for Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) for six years. In 2006, she was hired as the Director of Guidance and served in that role until she moved back to New Hampshire in the summer of 2012.
Mrs. Chandler was the Virginia School Counselor Supervisor of the Year in 2010.
The 2012-13 school year is Mrs. Chandler's first at ConVal.
