2012-13 Five Year Vision
As we move into the 2012-13 school year, we look forward to building on the six areas of focus that are part of our five-year vision of excellence at ConVal High School.
- Culture
- Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment
- Student Engagement
- Tools and Resources
- Procedures
- Policies
Over the past two years, we have focused on improving our school culture with a special emphasis on respectful communication among all stakeholders. Feedback from students, staff, parents and community indicates that we have succeeded in creating this culture. While we celebrate this achievement, we also recognize that there is always room for additional growth and further improvements.
As we move into year three of our five-year vision, we will emphasize the areas of curriculum, instruction and assessment. Specifically, we will focus on the continued development of our professional learning community, the expansion of our intervention block (TASC) to include Tier II work for identified skills, and curriculum mapping as we continue to strive to meet the learning needs of all students.
Looking to the future, ConVal Regional High School will continue to offer a wide variety of courses that match the needs of the 21st century learner. ConVal will offer a rigorous academic curriculum supplemented with ample opportunities in co-curricular activities to provide balance in health, character and citizenship.
As we aim to become one of New Hampshire’s top-performing high schools, we will build upon the foundation from the first two years of our new vision. We will continue to engage, staff, students, parents and community as we make our vision a reality.
Here Comes ConVal !!!!
