F.A.C.T.S.
Each month the F.A.C.T.S. Program (Famous Artists Come To School) introduces children to a different famous artist through "mini-lectures" by trained volunteers. These presentations include background information about the artist's life and style of work, discussion of artwork in books and large reproductions, and hands-on activities where students can try to create artwork in the style of that month's artist. The F.A.C.T.S. Program is coordinated by the Arts Enrichment team with help from volunteers at each school.
